SL User's Group 3D Systems Solid Imaging

You are invited...

Dear 3D Systems SLA Users,

As Conference Chairperson, it is my pleasure to announce the 2000 3D Systems North American Stereolithography Users Group (3DSNASUG) Conference and Annual Meeting. As an eligible 3D Systems SLA user, you are invited to attend the 2000 conference to be held March 5-9, 2000 at the Hilton Universal City and Towers, Universal City (greater Los Angeles), California. Programming for the conference places heavy emphasis on user applications and networking, allowing new and experienced 3D Systems SLA users to interact in many thought-stimulating venues.

More importantly, this year's conference is truly global. To welcome the new millennium, 3D Systems SLA users from around the world, including the European Stereolithography Users Association (ESUA), are invited to attend and participate with the 3DSNASUG for the 2000 conference. Pooling all available 3D Systems SLA users from around the world, the conference will showcase the "best in the world" application presentations and user experiences. The 2000 SL Excellence Award Competition will be a unique opportunity to display your best applications and compete in a global setting. Further, opportunities will be available for separate 3DSNASUG and ESUA business meetings to assure the needs of the individual organizations are met.

The 2000 conference will certainly be a "must see" event. Our keynote speaker is three-time NASA Space Shuttle astronaut, author, and motivational speaker, Mike Mullane. Mike will share his "Lessons from Challenger," speaking to us concerning leadership, risk-taking, trust, and striving for excellence as we cross the threshold of the new century. Mike's inspirational presentation is straight from the heart, filled with real-life space experiences that the Users Group will enjoy, understand, and put to use in our professional and personal lives.

From the Sunday tutorials, through Thursday's "History of SLA" (Elaine Hunt, 1996 3DSNASUG Chairperson), the conference will be educational, inspirational, and highly valuable for those who choose to attend. On behalf of the 2000 3DSNASUG Executive Committee, I hope you will join us in California.

Steve Deak
2000 3DSNASUG Chairperson
